Hi, my name is Khristy and I am the brand new owner of Jewelfire Diamonds of Broomfield. In August 2021, my longtime friend and co-owner of Jewelfire Diamonds approached me with an unexpected opportunity to take ownership of the Broomfield location after the sudden passing of his beloved business partner and our friend, Mike Beilmann. After much deliberation - and since this would be a joint decision - many discussions with my husband, I decided that this was the time, and this was the place. Of course, my husband agreed.  Now, I know I made the right decision and I believe I am successfully carrying on the legacy of the previous owners. 

I’ve been in the Broomfield area since the early 1980s and my first jewelry job was at the old Westminster Mall and, in case you were wondering, it was at JC Keepsake. How many of you can still remember the Westminster Mall?  I was a very young 20-year-old but somehow I can still remember the day I started and that my first customer’s name was Vern. I wonder what happened to Vern… but I digress. The day I started in this industry I was hooked on the whole concept of jewelry sales. My initial reaction was just “WOW, people make money doing this!?” and this mindset continues to the present time. The relationships I’ve made and the fun I’ve had over the years have brought me to this amazing place and time.
